Play, children's ideas and clear routines shape our days. Guided by the curriculum, we help children have a say, feel confident to try and trust in their own abilities.
A love of reading, every day
As a reading-certified preschool, we make room for both planned and spontaneous reading time. Books are within the children's reach in reading corners, in our library and outdoors.
Colour, shape and imagination
Children can express ideas and feelings through art. We work on projects inspired by Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso and Frida Kahlo, among others.
Song, music and rhythm
We explore sounds and feelings through songs, instruments and rhythmic games. Music becomes a way to express ourselves and do something together.
Stories that come to life
Drama and theatre help us talk about feelings and situations within the group. Children can reflect, talk and try different forms of expression.
Discovering through movement
Dance, exercise and movement games give children opportunities to explore movement, develop motor skills and enjoy being active.
Beyond the preschool walls
Play continues in the courtyard and on outings. Playgrounds, Kronoskogen and the library are some of the places we explore in our local area.

Location and spaces
Samklang is at Smedjegatan 23–25, between the train station and the town centre. The rooms and materials change with the children's interests and needs.

About us
Samklang is an independent preschool in central Eskilstuna. We want to give children a sense of security, joy and knowledge — with adults who notice, listen and stay close in everyday life.
