Educators who make a difference.
It starts with an adult who notices, listens and stays close. Our educators get to know each child, build on their ideas and offer support as they take the next step. Together with you as parents, we help children feel secure in everyday life.
Our preschool teachers and childcare staff work together. We aim to provide continuity and an everyday experience where every child feels seen and heard.

Reading-certified preschool
A book opens up more than a story. It gives us words to play with, feelings to talk about and new worlds to discover together.
Samklang is a reading-certified preschool and takes part in Eskilstuna Municipality's Lässatsning reading programme. We have our own library and reading spaces both indoors and outdoors. We make room for reading aloud, conversations and the children's own questions.

Play and the children's own ideas are part of how we discover the world together.
Learning through creativity
We paint, sing, dance and act to explore and understand. A story can become a painting, and a feeling can be expressed through movement. Children have many ways to think, learn and tell their stories.
The joy of doing it yourself
We are inspired by Montessori's ideas about children's own desire to learn. Children have time to try, make their own choices and discover what they can do — with an educator nearby when they need support.
Different ways of being
Children have different interests, experiences and ways of expressing themselves. We value these differences and give every child room to contribute to the group in their own way.
SPACE FOR CURIOSITY
An environment shaped by children's ideas.
An art studio, a building room, a story room and our own library. Our rooms change with the children's needs and interests, offering new things to explore and try. Play and discovery continue outdoors in the courtyard and on our outings.

PRESCHOOL AND HOME
Getting to know your child together.
You know your child best. By listening to each other and sharing experiences, we build a shared understanding of your child's everyday life. Working with you as parents is an important part of Samklang.
A love of reading can come home, too. Our preschool's parent library has bags of books to borrow and read together.

You will find us at Smedjegatan 23–25, between the train station and the centre of Eskilstuna.

We have a limited number of places and usually welcome new children between July and September. We encourage you to join our waiting list well ahead of your preferred start. At other times of the year, a place may open up when a child leaves. Children with priority, such as siblings, may also be admitted at other times of the year following an individual assessment.

Would you like to see the preschool and meet us before applying for a place? Email us to arrange a time for a tour. Tours must be booked in advance. To respect the privacy of our children and families, we do not accept drop-in visits.
