Samklang is an independent preschool in central Eskilstuna. We want to give children a sense of security, joy and knowledge — with adults who notice, listen and stay close in everyday life.
Educators who make a difference
Preschool teachers and childcare staff work together to get to know each child and provide continuity. The children's questions, interests and different ways of expressing themselves help shape what we do.
Professional development and ongoing training are part of our work to develop the preschool. Working with you as parents gives us more perspectives on your child's everyday life.
The joy of doing it yourself
We are inspired by Maria Montessori's ideas about children's desire and ability to learn. Having the chance to try, make choices and discover what you can do is part of the journey towards independence.
We want to create a community that makes room for differences and where every child feels seen and heard.
A preschool with 40 years of history
Our story began 40 years ago, when the preschool opened under the name Växthuset. Since 2017, it has operated as an independent preschool under the name Samklang.

Learning and activities
Play, children's ideas and clear routines shape our days. Guided by the curriculum, we help children have a say, feel confident to try and trust in their own abilities.
Location and spaces
Samklang is at Smedjegatan 23–25, between the train station and the town centre. The rooms and materials change with the children's interests and needs.
